Narrative therapy assumes you are not the problem. Instead, we examine your relationship with external problems, keeping in mind the social, familial, and cultural contexts that have a role in how we all relate to the world. I also utilize relational and somatic interventions to investigate feelings and sensations that show up in our time together. I use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tools, mindfulness techniques, and provide psychoeducation on attachment-based and trauma-informed theories depending on your individual needs.
